<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6439 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING THE PINEWOOD ELEMENTARY PTA A ONE DAY <br />PERMIT TO CONDUCT A RAFFLE AT PINEWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Pinewood Elementary PTA has requested that the Council allow <br />them to conduct charitable gambling at Pinewood Elementary School on March 6, <br />2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of <br />government (city of county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests <br />to conduct charitable gambling/raffles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Pinewood Elementary PTA is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling <br />regulations. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize the Pinewood Elementary PTA to conduct a one-day Raffle at <br />Pinewood Elementary School on March 6, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 24th day of January, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL)
