Item No: 09G <br />Meeting Date: February 14, 2005 <br />Type of Business: Council Business <br />Administrator Review: _________ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Desaree Crane, Administrative Assistant <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 6456 Approving a Garbage and Rubbish Hauler <br />License for Aspen Waste Systems, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Section 603.06, subd. 1a (2) of the Mounds View City Code requires garbage haulers <br />collecting yard waste, recyclables and non recyclables or any combination thereof from <br />residential areas, commercial establishments, multiple dwellings and/or mobile home <br />parks to be licensed. Aspen Waste Systems, Inc., submitted a license application, fees, <br />and an insurance certificate to be licensed in the City of Mounds View to pick up <br />recyclables, garbage and rubbish at Woodlawn Terrace Apartments located at 7639 <br />Woodland Drive, and would like to expand to other areas in Mounds View. Aspen <br />would like to do Multiple Dwelling and Commercial Establishments only.
