PUD Amendment Report <br />February 14, 2005 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The proposed amendment was presented to the Mounds View Planning Commission on <br />January 5, 2005. The Commission recognized the need to resolve the inconsistency and <br />adopted a resolution which supported the addition of the following underlined language to <br />the Code: <br /> <br />Subd. 12. Building Height: Height limitations shall be the same as imposed in the <br />respective districts unless additional height or stories would serve a better purpose <br />consistent with the stated intent of this Chapter. <br /> <br /> <br />Public Hearing: <br /> <br />The City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on January 24, 2005. After taking <br />testimony and accepting the report of staff, the City Council approved the first reading of <br />Ordinance 755. No changes have been made to the ordinance since the first reading was <br />approved. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff and the Planning Commission recommends adoption of Ordinance 755, an ordinance <br />amending Chapter 1120 of the Mounds View Zoning Code relating to building height <br />regulations in a PUD zoning district. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />James Ericson <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Attachments: <br /> <br />1.
