Police Department 2004 4th Quarter Report 25 <br /> 26 <br />Chief Sommer stated that during the 4th Quarter they had arrested 176 adults and 12 juveniles, 27 <br />and they had issued approximately 500 citations for traffic type offenses. He stated that 243 28 <br />cases had been assigned for investigation. He stated they had responded to 1,706 calls for 29 <br />service. He stated he had provided the Council with an update on the 800 megahertz public 30 <br />communication system. He updated the Council on some of the more unusual calls they had 31 <br />dealt with during the quarter. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Gunn asked Chief Sommer to compliment his department on the excellent job 34 <br />that they do in the community. 35 <br /> 36 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that negotiations are continuing with Medtronics. He 37 <br />stated that there are two items of legislation currently moving through the state on behalf of that 38 <br />project. 39 <br /> 40 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that the YMCA’s garage sale is being held at the 41 <br />Community Center on Friday and Saturday. 42 <br /> 43 <br />C.
