Mounds View City Council February 14, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 15 <br /> <br />Mayor Marty stated that at the top of the page under Mounds View, he has 2000 jobs listed. He 1 <br />stated he had been told it’s 3000. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Mr. Benkey stated that he had been working with various city staffs to pull the numbers together, 4 <br />and if 3000 was the correct number for Mounds View, he would amend t he memo. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Marty stated that would be for the first phase, and then it would be 6000 plus. He stated 7 <br />that it says $120 million in tax base compared to the current taxable value of zero. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that he assumes that must includes phase one and phase two 10 <br />because phase one isn’t that big. 11 <br /> 12 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that was calculated based on 1.5 million square feet at 13 <br />$80 a square foot. He stated that would be the assessed value of the construction after 14 <br />completion. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Mayor Marty stated that he totally supports this, and he couldn’t imagine that the other cities 17 <br />wouldn’t also come on board. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND.
