Mounds View City Council February 14, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 15 <br /> <br />Mayor Marty stated that at the top of the page under Mounds View, he has 2000 jobs listed. He 1 <br />stated he had been told it’s 3000. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Mr. Benkey stated that he had been working with various city staffs to pull the numbers together, 4 <br />and if 3000 was the correct number for Mounds View, he would amend t he memo. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Marty stated that would be for the first phase, and then it would be 6000 plus. He stated 7 <br />that it says $120 million in tax base compared to the current taxable value of zero. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that he assumes that must includes phase one and phase two 10 <br />because phase one isn’t that big. 11 <br /> 12 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that was calculated based on 1.5 million square feet at 13 <br />$80 a square foot. He stated that would be the assessed value of the construction after 14 <br />completion. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Mayor Marty stated that he totally supports this, and he couldn’t imagine that the other cities 17 <br />wouldn’t also come on board. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND. January 24, 2005, City Council Meeting Minutes. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Council Member Gunn made a correction to page 2, first line, to add the w ord ‘‘grocery ’’ before 30 <br />stor e. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Gunn made a correction to page 2, line 8, to change the word ‘‘from’’ to ‘‘for ’’ 33 <br />before ‘‘…for the City and Public Works.’’ 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Gunn stated that Marla Monnepenny’s name was correctly spelled at page 2, 36 <br />line 37, but misspelled on page 3, lines 4 and 12. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Council Member Gunn stated that on page 12, line 19, one ‘‘had ’’ should be removed. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Mayor Marty changed page 1, line 16 to reflect the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Cub Scout 41 <br />Pack 367, Den 5. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Mayor Marty ch anged page 12, line 45, to state Mary Berg rather than just Mary. 44 <br /> 45 <br />Mayor Marty changed page 14, line 3, to state, ‘‘retired before this last option was available.’’ 46
