Following the City Hall walk-through the City Council convened into a work <br />session where the City Hall Rehabilitation Project was discussed. Discussions <br />involved items reviewed during the walk through, as well as the design and <br />development phase documents that were submitted. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />Set Public Improvement Hearing – Although not required by State Statute, <br />Staff is recommending that a public hearing be conducted to allow the public to <br />learn about the proposed project and to provide comments. <br /> <br />A hearing date of April 25, 2005 will afford the necessary time to publish legal <br />notices. <br /> <br />Just prior to the public hearing, on April 25, 2005, a presentation on the City Hall <br />Project will be conducted by SEH. <br /> <br />Following the hearing, should the City Council wish to proceed with this project, a <br />Staff report and resolution ordering the project and authorizing the creation of <br />detailed plans and specifications will be presented for City Council consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />It is recommended the City Council approve a resolution setting a Public <br />Improvement Hearing date for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Greg Lee, Director of Public Works <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
