RESOLUTION NO. 6536 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL AUDIT SERVICES FROM MMKR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statue 471.697 requires all cities with a population <br />over 2,500 to submit an audited annual financial report to the state auditor office; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich, & Co., P.A. (MMKR) <br />has provided the City of Mounds View with financial auditing services beginning with <br />the year ended December 31, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MMKR provided a letter of engagement that outlines the services <br />which they will perform and provides that additional services will be billed at their <br />standard hourly rates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, additional audit services are needed to complete the 2004 Annual <br />Financial Report during the vacancy in the position of the Finance Director. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby authorize additional services to complete the 2004 annual <br />financial report to be billed at the rates of $130 per hour for audit manager and $40 <br />per hour for support staff. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 23rd day of May, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
