Mounds View Planning Commission August 7, 1996 <br /> • Regular Meeting Page 9 <br /> that this informational meeting at the Planning <br /> Commission level was held as a courtesy. <br /> Lyle Bellis, 2977 County Road H, again <br /> expressed his concerns regarding the traffic <br /> issue. <br /> Chair Peterson asked the applicant to describe <br /> the design of the building. The applicant at this <br /> time gave a brief description of the lay-out and <br /> indicated that floor plans would be presented at <br /> the next meeting. <br /> Rochelle Moon, 6929 Pleasant View Drive, <br /> expressed her concerns that if a berm was <br /> installed it may dry out. Chair Peterson noted <br /> that at this time questions are taken regarding <br /> the building structure, and they would get into <br /> drainage issues and show how the grade works <br /> later. <br /> Lynn Widseth, 3001 County Road H, asked if <br /> there were any handicapped individuals in the <br /> congregation and was concerned about <br /> handicapped persons escaping during a fire. <br /> The applicant indicated that currently there are <br /> no handicapped individuals in the congregation <br /> and explained that it is a requirement that two <br /> staircases be installed along with egress <br /> windows (which would accommodate the <br /> handicapped) in the basement. <br /> Barb Cloues, 2875 County Road H, expressed <br /> her concerns about the security issue and that <br /> she sees very little police traffic on County <br /> Road H. The applicant explained that <br /> vandalism is a product of our society and, as <br /> always, is at the risk of the property owners. <br /> He also indicated that churches have the same <br /> . ratio for vandalism as strip malls.
