Monday, June 27, 2005 City Council Agenda. 24 <br /> 25 <br />City Administrator Ulrich had the following change to the agenda: 26 <br />• Delete Item 8N, Resolution 6567 Approving the Hire of Peter Berling to the Position of 27 <br />Police Officer and move to the July 25, 2005 agenda. 28 <br /> 29 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Flaherty. To Approve the Monday, June 27, 2005 agenda as 30 <br />amended. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 35 <br /> 36 <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, stated that he would like Council to clarify and explain 37 <br />two items: Mounds View City Charter 410, Section 33, clarify what supercedence means in the 38 <br />City Charter versus State law; secondly, in terms of the City Charter, where do they invoke the 39 <br />non-withstanding clause in Section 469. 40 <br /> 41 <br />City Attorney Riggs stated that he would research the items and provide a report that includes 42 <br />definitions and clarification. 43 <br /> 44
