Project Cost Discussions - As per resolution 6558; Sixty-five percent (65%) of <br />the total project cost shall be financed utilizing Park Dedication Funds (Account <br />No. 285-4470-3030), and the remaining 35% to be derived for the Special Project <br />Funds (Account No. 280-4180-7050). <br /> <br />The following is the current total project cost summary: <br /> <br />TKDA Plan Preparation $19,600 <br />Construction $289,700 <br />AC – bid alt. $7,000 <br />TKDA construction services $14,000 <br />TOTAL ESTIMATED COST $330,300 <br /> <br />$214,695 - 65% financed by Park Dedication Fund <br />$115,605 - 35% financed by Special Project Fund <br /> <br /> <br />Next Steps – Should the City Council award the construction contract, work on <br />the building would begin in August, with construction being substantially <br />completed by November 30, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />It is recommended the City Council approve a resolution to award a construction <br />contract and authorize a letter agreement with TKDA for the Groveland Park <br />Building Replacement Project. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Greg Lee, Director of Public Works <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
