RESOLUTION NO. 6583 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND SETTING A BID DATE FOR THE CITY HALL REHABILITATION PROJECT WHEREAS, on April 4, 2005, the City Council, at a Work Session, reviewed the status of the City Hall Rehabilitation Project, which included design and development level plans; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 2005, the City Council held a public hearing and approved Resolution No. 6504 which ordered the project, and approved a letter agreement with SEH for the development of detailed plans and specifications for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project; and WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed with this project, the next steps in the public improvement process is to approve the plans and specifications and set a bid date; and WHEREAS, detailed plans and specifications for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project have been completed and have been submitted for review; and WHEREAS, an August 24, 2005, 1:00 p.m. bid opening date will provide ample time to provide the required notification to contractors as per state statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. The final plans and specifications for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project which were prepared pursuant to Resolution No. 6504 adopted by the City Council on April 25, 2005, are hereby approved as the plans and specifications in accordance with which said improvements shall be constructed. 2. That a date to receive bids for said improvements is hereby established as August 24, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. 3. That Staff is hereby directed to cause to be published in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the Construction Bulletin, at least three weeks before the last day to submit bids, a notice to bidders for the implementation of said project as required by law.
