It is good to see that the stormwater from the one-story office building will be <br /> treated in a sedimentation pond. As noted in Comment 2 of the above letter,the treatment of the stormwater will <br /> protect Silver Lake,wildlife,and property values from the adverse impacts of pollution. <br /> The new plans also show the erosion control plans for the project which were recommended in Comment 6 of the <br /> above letter. Proper erosion controls will protect the same values as the sedimentation pond. Erosion controls are <br /> very important. The City should inspect the erosion control measures on a regular basis and after large rainstorms. <br /> All the other comments of the July 31, 1997 letter are valid and should be addressed by the developer and the City <br /> of Mounds View.
