RESOLUTION NO. 95-EDA22 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> • COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VISION STATEMENT FOR HIGHWAY 10 CORRIDOR IN <br /> MOUNDS VIEW <br /> WHEREAS, Focus 2000 stressed the importance of improving the aesthetics and <br /> accessibility of Highway 10; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Highway 10 subcommittee, consisting of thew UDC members, e <br /> planning commission member and a parks and recreation commission member, developed a <br /> vision statement for Highway 10 Corridor, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Highway 10 Vision Statement reads as follows° <br /> Highway 10 in Mounds View is a cohesive planned corridor that provides <br /> convenient access for business opportunities and for goods, services <br /> and hospitality amenities. <br /> Highway 10 corridor incorporates a City Center that promotes essential <br /> ,• services for its residents and a hub for commuters. <br /> Highway 10 is aesthetically pleasing with attractive landscaper-_, signage, <br /> streetscapes and storefronts. <br /> Highway 10 is the local and regional link to the greater Metro Area. <br /> WHEREAS, this vision statement has been reviewed and approved by the <br /> Economic Development Commission, who acts as an advisory commission to the Economic <br /> Development Authority (EDA). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Authority <br /> of the City of Mounds View hereby approves the Vision Statement for Highway 10 Corridor in <br /> Mounds View as presented. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of February, 1995. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> President <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Executie Director <br />
