Crane, Administrative Assistant <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 6599 Approving a Charitable Gambling Permit to <br />Conduct Excluded Bingo for the 2005 Festival in the Park in <br />Mounds View <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />The Festival in the park is fast approaching and the organization has requested a <br />permit to conduct Charitable Gambling for conduct Excluded Bingo. The Excluded <br />Bingo will commence on August 21, 2005. However, Staff has not received an <br />application. Staff was told by the Festival in the Park point of contact <br />(Councilmember Sherry Gunn) that the committee is trying to get a hold of the <br />person responsible for submitting this permit. Attached is Resolution 6599 <br />Approving the Charitable Gambling Permit. If the Application is not received prior <br />to this meeting, then this item will be pulled from the Agenda. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution 6599 Approving a Charitable Gambling Application for the 2005 <br />Festival in the Park if the Charitable Gambling Application is received prior to the <br />start of this City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Desaree M.
