<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6598 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING <br /> THE DISTRIBUTION OF BETHLEHEM BAPTIST <br />CHURCH COMMUNITY DONATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has established a North Campus in the City <br />of Mounds View, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church desires to assist the community in meeting <br />its community needs and has established a “Mounds View Community Service Project <br />Fund” with the intent of annually donating $25,000 toward community projects, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has offered $12,500 in funds as a semi- <br />annual installment toward this commitment, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the distribution of this donation has been discussed with City staff, the <br />YMCA, a Festival in the Park representative, and the City Council, and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View gratefully acknowledges the donation of $12,500 from Bethlehem Baptist Church and <br />agrees to distribute the money, upon receipt, as follows: <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Groveland Park Building Project $7,500 <br /> YMCA “Y Partners” Program $2,500 <br /> Festival in the Park $2,500 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 8th day of August, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
