<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6619 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLOSING OF CITY HALL ON SEPTEMBER 30, <br />2005 TO MOVE TEMPORARILY TO THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 6616 awarding the construction <br />contract, which starting the process of remodeling Mounds View City Hall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 6616 awarding a storage and <br />moving contract to move Mounds View City Hall temporarily to the Mounds View <br />Community Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that City Hall be closed on September 30, 2005, <br />due to the need to have everything ready for the movers on Saturday, October 1, 2005, <br />to minimize potential overtime expenses, and to avoid disruptions and hazardous <br />situations due to the move. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes <br />Mounds View City Hall to be closed on Friday, September 30, 2005, to get everything <br />prepared for the contract movers on Saturday, October 1, 2005. <br /> <br />Presented this 12th day of September, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
