RESOLUTION NO. 6605 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING <br />AN AMENDED CONTRACT WITH CANYON GRILLE <br /> FOR THE LEASE OF SPACE AT THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Mounds View is undertaking a major remodeling of City Hall <br />and must temporarily relocate its office operation to the Mounds View Community Center; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Canyon Grille currently leases space from the City of Mounds View <br />that the City would like to use on a temporary basis from approximately September 1, 2005 <br />to April 1, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has examined alternatives for leasing space in other <br />buildings within the City and finds this to be the most economical and convenient <br />alternative. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby authorize staff to amend the current lease <br />contract with the Canyon Grille, to allow rent of $0 for the period from September 1, 2005 <br />to April 1, 2006, in consideration the City will be able to utilize space as defined for City <br />Hall operations during the same time period, and subject to the City ordering the City Hall <br />remodeling project. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd of August 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
