Resolution 5977 was passed by the City Council, which provided <br />additional compensation to the Administrative Assistant position at a rate of ten <br />percent (10%). <br /> <br />Labor Relations has performed an assessment of the Assistant to the City <br />Administrator position. There is no Stanton Job Classification directly matching the <br />duties and requirements of the Mounds View Assistant to the City Administrator. <br />Consequently, the Assistant to the City Administrator job description was sent to <br />Labor Relations for an assessment. The results of the assessment indicate that <br />the position is scaled at a recommended 385 HAY Points, with a maximum (Step <br />5) of $56,000 for 2005. Desaree Crane is currently compensated at $22.63/hr <br />($47,070.40), which includes the 10% compensation. This is a difference of <br />$8929.60 a year or about 19 percent (19%) below the recommended level. <br />Reclassifying this position has been budgeted for 2006 and the budget for 2005 <br />would need to be reallocated to cover the position in the amount of $5,106.40.
