Desaree Crane has been performing the duties of the Assistant to the City <br />Administrator job for over 2 and a half years and is currently at Step 5 of the salary <br />range. During this time period, work responsibilities for this position have included <br />City Elections, human resource duties, plus additional managerial and <br />administrative duties commensurate with the position description. Desaree Crane <br />meets all requirements under the Assistant to the City Administrator Job <br />Description. Attached is the job description for your review. <br /> <br />The Human Resources Committee did review this job description and it was <br />recommended that Desaree Crane be reclassified to the Assistant to the City <br />Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff is recommending this position to be reclassified to Desaree Crane at Step 5. <br />Since Ms. Crane has been performing these duties for a substantial period of time, <br />Staff is recommending that this reclassification be effective on July 1, 2005.
