<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6640 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYROLL/UTILITY TECHNICIAN AND <br />APPOINTING THE POSITION TO DEBBIE JASPER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Payroll/Utility Technician, Debbie Jasper, has assumed <br />several important human resource duties in regard to payroll since the vacancy <br />of the Assistant City Administrator at the end of 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 6006 was passed by the City Council, which <br />provided additional compensation to the Payroll/Utility Billing Technician at a rate <br />of five percent (5%) effective April 1, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Debbie Jasper has been performing these duties for over 2 <br />years and is currently at Step 5 of the salary range; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Labor Relations has performed an assessment of the <br />Payroll/Utility Technician job description and the results of the assessment <br />indicate that the position is scaled at a recommended 183 HAY Points, with a <br />maximum (Step 5) of $21.47/hr; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Debbie Jasper meets all requirements under the <br />Payroll/Utility Technician; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the salary range and steps for this position shall be: <br /> <br /> Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 <br /> $17.18/hr $18.25/hr $19.32/hr $20.41/hr $21.47/hr <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Debbie be reclassified into <br />the Payroll/Utility Technician. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
