Director Ericson advised that the Rice Creek 2 <br />Watershed District reviewed this request and feel this provides better infiltration opportunity in 3 <br />using the best management practices so they are supportive. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Director Ericson stated the easement is to be vacated because part of the footprint of the 8,300 6 <br />square foot building would extend into the easement area. The site was not developed as 7 <br />originally intended so the vacation request has been made. Staff is requesting approval and if 8 <br />approved, authorization to publish a summary of the ordinance rather than the full ordinance. 9 <br /> 10 <br />There being no public input, Mayor Marty closed the public hearing at 7:29 p.m. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Mayor Marty stated this appears to be in order and is a housekeeping matter to relocate the 13 <br />easement to another location to accommodate the building. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Motion/Second: Flaherty/Gunn. Resolution 6680, Step Increases for Sergeant Bob Nelson and Officer Jeremy 29 <br />Hellpap 30 <br /> 31 <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated this is a scheduled rate increase for Sergeant Nelson and Officer 32 <br />Hellpap and the resolution is recommended for the Council’s approval. He advised that both 33 <br />officers have performed satisfactorily in the capacity of their position. Therefore, a step increase 34 <br />wage adjustment is consistent with the Personnel Manual and Labor Agreements. 35 <br /> 36 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Flaherty.
