<br />Item No: 11.B.1 <br />Meeting Date: 12/12/05 <br /> Type of Business: Reports <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: County Road J Improvement Project Agreement <br /> <br />City staff is meeting with Ramsey County, state officials, Medtronic, and others on <br />Monday afternoon in order try to reach agreement on funding for the construction of <br />County Road J. The City was granted $5 million for the design and construction of the <br />project and will be reimbursed for any expenditure at the completion of the project. The <br />parties are attempting to work out a method to finance the upfront costs of the project <br />and a plan to address the right-of-way ownership. A report on the meeting will be given <br />at the Council meeting.
