RESOLUTION NO. 6174 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 404 of the Mounds View City Municipal Code established <br />the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 404.01 of the above mentioned Chapter sets the method for <br />the appointment of the Police Civil Service Commissioners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 404.01 states that Police Commissioners shall be appointed <br />by the Mayor with the approval of a majority of the Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are three (3) vacant seats on the Police Civil Service <br />Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mounds View Mayor Jerry Linke has reviewed all current <br />applications on file at the Mounds View City offices for this appointment, and has <br />recommended to the Council for its approval the names of 3 Mounds View residents for <br />appointment to the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a majority of the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve the following appointments to the terms indicated: <br /> <br /> NAME TERM EXPIRATION <br /> <br /> Mari Milewski Shay December 31, 2006 <br /> Virgil Dean Beyer December 31, 2005 <br /> Dale Alan Feder December 31, 2004 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 26th day of January, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> __________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
