<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6177 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR MERRICK, INC., A <br />CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT <br />ROBERT’S SPORTS BAR AND ENTERTAINMENT LOCATED AT <br />2400 COUNTY ROAD H2 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Merrick, Inc., has requested that Council allow them to <br />conduct charitable gambling at Robert’s Sports Bar and Entertainment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of <br />government (city of county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying <br />requests to conduct charitable gambling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Merrick, Inc., is in compliance with all requirements of the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling regulations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to assist in the <br />economic prosperity of local business owners. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby authorize Merrick, Inc., to conduct charitable gambling at <br />Robert’s Sports Bar and Entertainment. <br /> <br />Adopted this 26th day of January, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
