Resolution 6160, a Resolution Approving the Room Policies for the 2 <br />Gymnasium and Other Areas of the M.V. Community Center Managed by 3 <br />the YMCA. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman overviewed the areas that the YMCA is 6 <br />responsible for managing and provided a drawing of the facility outlining those areas. He then 7 <br />explained there had been a form for scheduling resident and non-resident use of the facility and 8 <br />that form has been revised to be more efficient. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman provided an explanation of the different classes 11 <br />of users and the priority they have for booking space. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Marty commented that Mr. Hall had mentioned something about having some 14 <br />events that would like to use the entire Community Center including the gymnasium and asked 15 <br />whether that would be scheduled through the YMCA. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Jeannette from the YMCA indicated that the portions of the building they are responsible for 18 <br />managing would have to be reserved through her. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Council Member Stigney asked where commercial rental of the gym is handled. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman explained how commercial rental of the gym 23 <br />would be handled and explained that a priority group could bump an event. 24 <br /> 25 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Quick. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6160, a 26 <br />Resolution Approving the Room Policies for the Gymnasium and Other Areas of the M.V. 27 <br />Community Center Managed by the YMCA. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 30 <br /> 31 <br />J. Resolution 6158, Approving a Step Increase for Greg Lee, Mary Burg, Aaron 32 <br />Backman, and Mike Sommer. 33 <br /> 34 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Approve Resolution 6158, a Resolution Approving a 35 <br />Step Increase for Greg Lee, Mary Burg, Aaron Backman, and Mike Sommer. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Council Member Stigney asked that Resolution 6158 be read.
