A <br />comparable model, the JVC BR-DV3000U, has recently gone down in price_ This deck is <br />currently in use at CTV for their editing suites, and has been working well for them. The <br />JVC BR-DV3000U is a combination Mini -DV and DVCAM player. The replacement cost of one of the S -VHS playback decks that have broken <br />down is low enough to invest in the digital video format. The replacement is needed to be <br />able to properly schedule meeting replays and other programming cable channel 15. <br />Recommendation: Staff recommends the purchase of one JVC BR-DV3000U Digital <br />Video Deck from B&H for $1,499.95.
