Mounds View City Council January 26, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS 1 <br /> 2 <br />A. Annual Storm Water Permit Review – Present and discuss the City’s Storm 3 <br />Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP). 4 <br /> 5 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that all urbanized cities were required to develop an 6 <br />SWPPP and that was done as part of the municipal separate storm sewer permit done in 2003. 7 <br />He then said that the report that was included in the packets is available at City Hall for review. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that the report consists of a summary update of best 10 <br />management practices and the City has a list of 46 items that must be monitored and reported on. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that in 2003 the City cleaned and inspected nearly 30% of 13 <br />the sanitary sewer and nearly 80% of the surface water structures as well as100% of oil and 14 <br />grease separators. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that the City has identified 18 problems within the system 17 <br />and they will be included in a rehabilitation program for 2004. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Public Works Director Lee introduced Marla Mennypenny and informed the Council that she is 20 <br />in charge of the storm water system and she put together the report. 21 <br /> 22 <br />7.
