<br />The City Council should also consider if you want to set a minimum number of units <br />consumption for sewer. A family might go south for the winter and use zero water <br />during January through March, but then return for spring, summer, and fall and use <br />water. Perhaps a 5-unit minimum should be considered. <br /> <br />Water rates are increasing from $1.45 per thousand gallons to $1.50 per thousand. <br />Storm water rates are increasing from $5.50 per quarter for a single-family residence to <br />$7.50 per quarter. Other properties would have the same percentage increase. <br />
