<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6248 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ADOPTING THE CITY VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in March of 2004, the City Council and Department Heads held a <br />“Leadership – Planning – Team Building” retreat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council and Department Heads discussed the past, <br />present, and future and responded with a plan to address the challenges facing the City <br />of Mounds View; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council and Department Heads developed a shared vision <br />for success by agreeing on a formal vision and mission statement, which reads: <br /> <br /> <br />Mounds View Vision Statement <br /> <br />We see Mounds View as a proactive community that takes pride in its <br />achievements. We are responsive to the changing needs and interests of <br />our residents and businesses. As a result, our community thrives and <br />prospers. <br /> <br />Mounds View Mission Statement <br /> <br />Our Mission is to provide high quality public services that effectively <br />address changing citizen and community needs in a fiscally responsible <br />and customer-friendly manner. <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby adopt the City of Mounds View Vision and Mission Statement. <br /> <br />Adopted this 24th day of May, 2004. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor Jerry Linke <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Councilmember Quick Councilmember Stigney
