Resolution 6243 Approving a Cooperative Agreement between the City of 6 <br />Spring Lake Park and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for 7 <br />the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier 8 <br /> 9 <br />Council Member Gunn asked for clarification as to how the policing of the park would go. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Chief Sommer explained that policing of the park would be in the same manner as any border 12 <br />street in that Mounds View Officers can enforce the laws within the park and both cities would 13 <br />patrol it. 14 <br /> 15 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6243, a 16 <br />Resolution Approving a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Spring Lake Park and the 17 <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 20 <br /> 21 <br />H. Resolution 6178, a Resolution Authorizing the Development of a Request for 22 <br />Proposal for the Work Associated with the Implementation of the County 23 <br />Road 10 Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council Member Marty asked Staff to provide an explanation of this item. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that the Resolution would authorize the hiring of a 28 <br />consultant to be directed by Council to work on the design and implementation of the Highway 29 <br />10 redevelopment and revitalization plan. 30 <br /> 31 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6178, a 32 <br />Resolution Authorizing the Development of a Request for Proposal for the Work Associated with 33 <br />the Implementation of the County Road 10 Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Stigney asked for clarification of what this would be for. He then said that, if 36 <br />this is implementing the plan, he disagrees with the plan and would not agree with this matter. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Council Member Quick asked for a potential cost amount. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that the costs would be up to Council as the work directed 41 <br />to be done dictates the costs involved. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would prefer to work on the plan before hiring a 44 <br />consultant to implement a plan that he has issues with. 45
