City Council Minutes May 10, 2004 6 <br /> 7 <br />Council Member Gunn requested that Page 3, Line 35 be corrected to read: 8 <br /> 9 <br />Finance Director Hansen explained that a couple of years ago there was an accident with a City 10 <br />vehicle and a private party and the City paid the $10,000 deductible and the League paid the 11 <br />amount in excess of that. Last fall the League accomplished recovery of money from the other 12 <br />driver and they were to calculate and send 2/3 of the recovery to the City but they made a mistake 13 <br />and sent the entire amount to the City so this is a refund to them. 14 <br /> 15 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve the City Council Minutes for May 10, 2004 as 16 <br />Amended. 17 <br /> 18 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> B. Executive Session Minutes May 10, 2004 21 <br /> 22 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Approve the Executive Session Council Minutes for May 23 <br />10, 2004 as Presented. 24 <br /> 25 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br />11. REPORTS 29 <br /> 30 <br /> A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Gunn reminded residents of Festival in the Park and outlined some of the 33 <br />planned festivities. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Gunn indicated that she has been told that there were only 35 tables at the 36 <br />banquet center and that, if the organization using the facility needed more, they were to go out 37 <br />and rent them. She then said that she would like an inventory done of what the City has at the 38 <br />banquet center. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Mayor Linke indicated that the banquet center has always taken care of rentals and charges it 41 <br />back. 42 <br /> 43
