<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6302 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 NOISE WALL / BERM PROJECT AND DIRECT <br />STAFF TO SUBMIT A LETTER TO MN/DOT REQUESTING THE <br />INSTALLATION OF A NOISE ABATEMENT WALL IN THE ARDEN PARK <br />AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the July, 5, 2004 Council Work Session, the City <br />Council gave Staff direction to proceed with the preparation of final plans and <br />specifications for the berm in Segment B (wetland berm area) and a noise <br />abatement wall in Segment C (the LaPort Neighborhood); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council also gave Staff direction to proceed <br />with the submittal of a letter to Mn/DOT, requesting the installation of a noise <br />abatement wall in Segment A (the Arden Park Area). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The preparation of the final construction plans and specifications for <br />Segment B (wetland berm area) and Segment C (the LaPort <br />Neighborhood) of the Trunk Highway 10 Noise Wall / Berm Project <br />is hereby authorized. <br /> <br />2. Staff is hereby directed to draft a letter and submit it to Mn/DOT <br />requesting the installation of a noise abatement wall in the Arden <br />Park area. <br /> <br />3.
