<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6343 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A POLICE OFFICER <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists for a police officer position on the Mounds <br />view Police Department, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has a current <br />active list of applicants who have conducted the written portion of the testing process for <br />the position of Police Officer, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the existing list has over 100 candidates, and it is anticipated that a <br />suitable candidate will be selected from this list, and submitted to the Council for final <br />approval. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize staff to begin the hiring process for a replacement a Police <br />Officer to fill the current vacancy with a start date anticipated to be in late October 2004. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of September 2004. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL)
