Mounds View City Council September 13, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated the purchase of the laptop computer was for the purpose of special 1 <br />code enforcement software with a front end cost of $10,000, and an annual cost of $1,000. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that that was one of the alternates that was brought up last week, 4 <br />and that the Council did not direct them to go ahead with any of those alternates, so that is not 5 <br />in the budget. 6 <br /> 7 <br />MOTION/SECOND. To approve Resolution 6338 Authorizing Certification of 8 <br />the Proposed General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2005. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Stigney stated that with the constraints he has asked of Staff, he would go along 11 <br />with this preliminarily. 12 <br /> 13 <br /> Ayes-4 Nays-0 Motion carried. 14 <br /> 15 <br />J. Resolution 6340 Approving the Elimination of a Parcel from Tax Increment Financing 27 <br />District No. 1 within the Mounds View Economic Development Project, in the City of 28 <br />Mounds View. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Linke stated that Council Member Stigney has championed this item, and it has finally 31 <br />come to fruition, and the Council is starting to do some decertification of parcels. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Marty stated that he has also been championing this item. 34 <br /> 35 <br />MOTION/SECOND.
