<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 6361 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MOUNDS VIEW CITIZENSHIP AWARD POLICY <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes ordinary citizens <br />who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to improving their communities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes a Mounds View <br />Resident who represents the energetic, courageous, persistent and informed involvement <br />of an ordinary citizen in the issues and challenges that affect the City. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, nominations are solicited from the public and are reviewed by the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council will select from the nominations and identify one <br />exceptional individual who meets the criteria outlined in the policy; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve the Mounds View Citizenship Award Policy effective September 27, <br />2004. <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day of September, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________________ <br />Jerry Linke, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />___________________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br /> <br />
