CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chair Torri Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:32am. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Torri Johnson, Vice Chair Jennifer Wagner-Harkonen and <br />Commissioners Greg Belting, Dan Larson, Gary Meehlhause and <br />Jim Paron <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Jason Helgemoe <br /> <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Specialist Heidi Steinmetz <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 17, 2012 AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Belting moved and Commissioner Larson seconded the <br />approval of the August 17, 2012, EDC agenda. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF JULY 20, 2012 EDC MINUTES <br /> <br />Chair Johnson asked that it be noted in the last paragraph of Item 6 that EDC members <br />Helgemoe and Meehlhause also attend the Allina Medical Transportation open house. <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Meehlhause moved and Commissioner Belting seconded <br />the approval of the July 20, 2012, EDC minutes as amended. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes, 0 Nays, 1 abstention <br /> <br />5. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Review 2002 County Road 10 Redevelopment and Redevelopment Plan <br /> <br />The EDC asked to review this plan prior to discussing a vision for County Road 10. Ms. <br />Steinmetz stated that the 2002 plan was a reconst ruction plan for County Road 10, which <br />included drawings of the different ways County Road 10 could be reconstructed. The plan <br />was created by consultants. <br /> <br />Commissioner Belting stated that the 2002 plan is still a great framework and starting point <br />for redeveloping County Road 10. He reiterated that he has been a proponent from day one
