CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chair Torri Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:34am. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Torri Johnson, Vice Chair Jennifer Wagner-Harkonen and <br />Commissioners Greg Belting, Jason Helgemoe, Dan Larson, Gary <br />Meehlhause and Jim Paron <br /> <br />Staff Present: City Administrator Jim Ericson and Economic Development <br />Specialist Heidi Steinmetz <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 21, 2012, AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Helgemoe moved and Commissioner Belting seconded the <br />approval of the December 21, 2012, EDC agenda. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 7 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 17, 2012, EDC MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Vice Chair Wagner-Harkonen moved and Commissioner Larson seconded <br />the approval of the August 17, 2012, EDC minutes. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 7 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />5. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. EDC Applications − Provide Recommendation to EDA <br /> <br />Ms. Steinmetz stated there will be three vacancies on the EDC beginning in January 2013. <br />There will be two “business representative” vacancies and one “resident representative” <br />vacancy. The Commission discussed the three EDC applications received by City staff and <br />provided a recommendation to the EDA. <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Meehlhause moved and Commissioner Belting seconded a <br />recommendation to the EDA that the three applicants (Jim Freichels, Jason Helgemoe and <br />Gary Stevenson) be appointed to the EDC during the January 14, 2013, EDA meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes, 0 Nays, 1 abstention <br />
