<br />Item No: 5A <br />Meeting Date: Sept. 27, 2013 <br />Type of Business: EDC <br /> <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To: Economic Development Commission <br />From: Heidi Steinmetz, Economic Development Specialist <br />Item Title/Subject: Discuss Land Development Planning Proposals for Southeast <br />Corner of County Road 10 and County Road H2 <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The EDA owns the following three commercial parcels located at the southeast corner of <br />County Roads 10 and H2: <br /> <br />1) 2390 County Road 10 – Former Premium Stop gas station <br />2) 2394 County Road 10 – Former Taiko sushi restaurant <br />3) 2400 County Road H2 – Former Robert’s Sports Bar <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The EDA purchased the former Premium Stop gas station and convenience store in 2006, <br />demolished the structures, removed the tanks, complet ed a Phase I and Phase II <br />environmental analyses, and received a clearance letter by MPCA. The EDA purchased <br />the former Robert’s and Taiko buildings this past summer. Both buildings were demolished <br />recently.
