The City knows what it would be getting, because Let’s Get Graphic 98
included a rendering of the sign. 99
100
Commissioner Flaherty indicated he would not be in favor of shopping the quotes around, and 101
since the price is not much different, he would like to go with Let’s Get Graphic. 102
103
Economic Development Specialist Steinmetz indicated that she would ask if they would go with 104
a two sided sign. 105
106
MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. To Approve the Quote from Let’s Get Graphic for a 107
Real Estate Sign for EDA-Owned Property Located at 2390 County Road 10 Including a Cap as 108
Recommended by Staff. 109
110
The EDA directed Staff to inquire about a two sided sign. 111
112
Vice President Stigney said that he is not going to support this because there is a lower quote. 113
114
Executive Director Ericson clarified that he is not sure if the EDA wants to have a two-sided 115
sign, so he would request that the motion approve the quote, and that the direction be that Staff 116
inquire about the two-sided sign. 117
118
The EDA agreed. 119
120
Commissioner Mueller indicated that Let’s Get Graphic submitted a proof that outlines exactly 121
what the City will receive for its money. 122
123
Staff explained that the request was for a quote for the cheapest possible real estate sign and there 124
was no specific request for a proof. 125
126
Ayes – 3 Nays – 2(Stigney/Hull) Motion carried. 127
