EDA RESOLUTION 15-EDA-287 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (EDC) <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission (EDC) consist of members <br />appointed by the Economic Development Authority (EDA); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are three (3) vacant seats on the EDC effective January 1, 2015; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dr. Greg Belting and Jim Paron EDC term seats expired on December <br />31, 2014; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jessica Birkin resigned from the EDC effective January 1, 2015; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dr. Greg Belting and Jim Paron will not be resubmitting their application <br />for a further term; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Staff received three (3) commission applications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the EDC considered the applications at their December meeting and <br />recommended Laurie Shoop (resident representative), Royal Dahlstrom (resident <br />representative), and Jessica Rieland (business representative) to be appointed to the EDC. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the EDA does hereby appoint the <br />following below to the EDC: <br /> <br /> Name Term Expiration <br />Laurie Shoop December 31, 2016 <br />Royal Dahlstrom December 31, 2017 <br />Jessica Rieland December 31, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 12th day of January, 2015. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> _______________, President <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> James, Ericson, Executive Director <br /> <br />(seal) <br />
