<br /> <br />Item Number: 7B <br />Meeting Date: May 27, 2008 <br />Type of Business: EDA <br />Administrator Review: _____ <br /> <br /> City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Economic Development Authority <br />From: Heidi Steinmetz, Economic Development Specialist <br />Item Title/Subject: Consider Real Estate Sign Quotes for EDA-Owned Property <br />Located at 2390 County Road 10 <br /> <br />Background <br />Since the EDA’s Preliminary Development Agreement with Master Development expired <br />on May 14, 2008, the EDA and staff are now the sole marketers of the EDA-owned <br />property located at 2390 County Road 10 (the former Premium Stop property). <br /> <br />On May 12th, the EDA discussed the potential of installing a “Land for Development” <br />real estate sign on the property. A sign would send the message to the community that <br />the EDA is proactive and trying to sell or initiate a project on the property. <br /> <br />Issue <br />As reported on May 12th, staff received two of three quotes solicited from local sign <br />companies. Attached are the two quotes, which were received by Let’s Get Graphic in <br />Mounds View and ABC Sign Company in Blaine.
