Mounds View EDA May 14, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> 88 <br />The EDA and Staff amended the dates in the Resolution to June 20, 2007 and responses due by 89 <br />July 9, 2007. 90 <br /> 91 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve Resolution 07-EDA-232, Approving the 92 <br />Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Premium Stop Redevelopment and to Authorize 93 <br />Distribution and Publication of the RFQ. 94 <br /> 95 <br />Commissioner Flaherty commented that there is a group of 18. 96 <br /> 97 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman clarified that there are 8 or 9 familiar with the 98 <br />project and four interested. 99 <br /> 100 <br />Commissioner Flaherty would like to go to the 18 first and save the $1,200 for advertising. He 101 <br />then said that he would like the City to require the recovery of all costs for purchasing and 102 <br />redeveloping the property. 103 <br /> 104 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman explained that he had only included land 105 <br />acquisition costs but other language could be added. 106 <br /> 107 <br />Community Development Director Ericson said that as the property sits it is not worth $625,000. 108 <br /> He then said that the goal is to recover City expenses but that may not be possible. 109 <br /> 110 <br />Vice President Stigney requested clarity in the fifth whereas.
