EDA Minutes May 23, 2005 48 <br /> 49 <br />President Marty had the following corrections: 50 <br />• Page 5, line 170 states: ‘He stated that in reading the House bill it was portrayed at the 51 <br />Capital.’ Should read: ‘He stated that in reading the House bill ‘as’ it was portrayed at the 52 <br />Capital.’ 53 <br /> 54 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Flaherty Approve the Minutes of May 23, 2005 as amended. 55 <br /> 56 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 1-Abstain (Thomas) Motion carried. 57 <br /> 58 <br />6. CONSENT AGENDA 59 <br /> 60 <br />A. Schedule an Executive Session immediately following this meeting to discuss 61 <br />and consider the sale of real property commonly known as the Bridges Golf 62 <br />Course, and a buyout offer of the billboard signs. 63 <br /> 64 <br />President Marty stated that he was a bit surprised to find out that they have an Executive Session 65 <br />scheduled, as it was his understanding that the Commission had continued all work and 66 <br />discussions until the special EDA meeting scheduled for June 20, 2005. 67 <br /> 68 <br />Commissioner Thomas stated that the Commission has a lot of work to do to prepare for the 69 <br />special meeting on June 20th and should continue to work through the issues so that they are 70 <br />prepared for the meeting. 71 <br /> 72 <br />Vice President Stigney agreed stating that they are still in negotiations and need the closed 73 <br />session. 74 <br /> 75 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Stigney Approve the Consent Agenda as presented. 76 <br /> 77 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 78 <br /> 79 <br />7.
