Update Regarding The Woods of Mounds View Housing Development 68 <br /> 69 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman introduced Gary Nordness and Jim Melcher from 70 <br />Pro Craft Homes. He then reviewed a timeline of the development process with Council. 71 <br /> 72 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman indicated that Pro Craft has been in negotiations 73 <br />with neighboring property owners but was unable to come to terms with them for the purchase of 74 <br />additional property to add to the development. He then presented Plan C to Council indicating 75 <br />that the plan would include only the City owned and controlled parcels. 76 <br /> 77 <br />Jim Melcher presented Plan C to Council indicating that the Fyksen property involved more 78 <br />wetland issues than they wanted to deal with and Mr. Vik decided he wanted to stay. 79 <br /> 80 <br />Mr. Melcher indicated that the raw cost of the lots not including the Fyksen property is up to 81 <br />$117,000 per lot. 82 <br /> 83 <br />Mr. Nordness indicated that they are seeking preliminary approval of a plan by the City before 84 <br />undertaking any more engineering work.
