To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 03-EDA-58 <br />174, a Resolution Approving the Contract Award for Geotechnical Exploration for a Residential 59 <br />Development on Lots 34 through 50 on County Road H2. 60 <br /> 61 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried 62 <br /> 63 <br />7. REPORTS 64 <br /> 65 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman indicated that Staff was asked to define a set of 66 <br />criteria for selecting a developer. He then provided the information to the EDA and reviewed it 67 <br />with them. He also noted that Dave Regel is no longer interested in being included in the project. 68 <br /> 69 <br />Economic Development Coordinator Backman reviewed the list of seven questions that were 70 <br />posed to the developers and compared their answers to those questions. He then asked whether 71 <br />the EDA felt the information was adequate and whether the EDA was prepared to choose a 72 <br />developer or wished to obtain further information. 73 <br /> 74 <br />Gary Nordness representing Procraft addressed the EDA and reviewed their plans for the project. 75 <br /> 76 <br />Commissioner Marty indicated he liked concept plan A and asked who owned the property 77 <br />behind the existing home in plan B. 78 <br /> 79 <br />The developer indicated that Mr. Vik owns that property and has expressed an interest in selling 80 <br />it. 81 <br /> 82 <br />Jim Claremont of Homes by James addressed the EDA and provided a brief history on himself 83 <br />and his company along with over viewing his plans for the project. 84 <br /> 85 <br />Vice President Stigney asked for Staff’s recommendation on choice of developer. 86 <br /> 87
