Danielson & Son <br /> Special Planning Case SP-090-01 <br />Date of Report: January 2, 2002 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The EDA acquired the property located at 2091 Hillview Road from the Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on September 4, 2001. The property is <br />improved with a four-unit multiple-family dwelling. Staff prepared and distributed an RFP <br />for the purchase and redevelopment of the four-plex. The targeted audience of the RFP <br />was experienced residential renovation specialists. The deadline to return the proposals <br />was December 5, 2001, at which time staff had received 10 proposals. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />At the EDA meeting on December 10, the Authority accepted the proposal from G.R. <br />Danielson and Son, company and set the public hearing to effectuate the sale of property <br />in accordance with Minnesota Statutes. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> Hold the public hearing and consider the resolution authorizing the sale of EDA-owned <br />property located at 2091 Hillview To G.R.
