<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 01-EDA-152 <br /> <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND REDEVELOPMENT OF EDA-OWNED <br />LAND LOCATED AT 2625 COUNTY HIGHWAY 10 TO THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR $50,000 <br /> <br /> <br />It is hereby resolved by the Board of Commissioners (the “Board”) of the Mounds <br />View Economic Development Authority (the “Authority”) as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EDA acquired real property located at 2625 County Highway 10 <br />(the “Property”) in 1995; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EDA, after demolishing the existing building and restoring the <br />Property, marketed the Property for commercial redevelopment; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On May 2, 2001, the EDA received a purchase offer from the <br />Mounds View Animal Hospital with certain contingencies; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Purchaser intends to construct upon the property a 5,086 <br />square foot, single-story veterinary clinic and animal boarding facility; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EDA, on May 7, 2001 provided staff with direction to accept the <br />purchase offer from the Mounds View Animal Hospital (the “Purchaser”) for the property <br />in the amount of $50,000; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the EDA, on October 1, 2001, held a public hearing regarding <br />conveyance of the Property to the Purchaser at which time all interested persons were <br />given an opportunity to be heard. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Authority, finding that the proposed development would be consistent with <br />the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code, and finding that the proposed <br />development would be a low intensity use with little impact to the neighborhood, hereby <br />approves the sale of the Property to the Purchaser in the amount of $50,000, less <br />submitted earnest money. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
