Resolution 5932 Approve the Plans and Specifications and Set a Bid Date for 19 <br />the Water Tower Rehabilitation Project 20 <br /> 21 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated the plans and specifications had been completed for this 22 <br />project and the next step is approval of those plans and setting a bid date. He then indicated that 23 <br />the bid date would be set for February 6, 2003 allowing for a bid to be awarded by Council on 24 <br />February 24, 2003 with construction to begin either April 1 or September 1. He further 25 <br />explained that allowing the contractor the flexibility of beginning construction in either 26 <br />April or September may provide the City with a cost savings on the project. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty.
