<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5944 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 5555 GOVERNING CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR DUTIES AND STAFF COMMUNICATION <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council adopted Resolution 5555 on April <br />9, 2001; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 5555 is a resolution concerning the administration of <br />City affairs and the relationship between the City Administrator and the City Council; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council do not agree with past interpretations <br />of the resolution; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 5555 in part restates and references sections of the <br />Mounds View City Charter; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council prefer to let the City Charter speak <br />for itself and no longer feel the need for such a resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Council <br />do hereby rescind and repeal Resolution 5555 and direct that the Resolution be <br />forever marked as such in the official City records. <br /> <br />Adopted this 10th day of February, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br />___________________________ <br />James Ericson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SEAL <br /> <br /> <br />
