2401 County Highway 10 <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Ramsey County <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MOUNDS VIEW POLICE <br />QUARTERLY REPORT <br />SEPTEMBER 2002- JANUARY 2003 <br /> <br />Mounds View Police Structure <br /> <br />17 Total Sworn Police Officers <br />• 9 Patrol Officers <br />• 2 Sergeants <br />• 2 Investigators <br />• 1 School Resource Officer (Edgewood Middle School) <br />• 1 officer assigned to D.A.R.E./ Crime Prevention <br />• 1 Deputy Chief <br />• 1Chief <br /> <br />3 Civilian Employees <br />• 1 Administrative Assistant <br />• 1 Records Technician <br />• 1 Part Time Community Service Officer/ Evidence Technician <br />• The retired Police Lieutenant is utilized on an as needed basis for Emergency <br />Management Planning. <br /> <br />Services Provided <br /> <br />Patrol <br />• 24-hour coverage, 7 days per week. Minimum of 2 officers patrolling the City nearly <br />24 hours per day. The schedule is designed to have more officers on duty during peak <br />call periods. Patrol officers respond generally within 2 minutes for emergency calls. <br />The patrol officers are responsible for responding to all calls for service to any location <br />within the city, enforcing local, state and federal laws, providing first aid for medical <br />emergencies, and maintaining law and order. In addition to their regular patrol duties <br />individual officers are assigned to identify and solve public safety problems and <br />concerns.
