Minimum of 2 officers patrolling the City nearly <br />24 hours per day. The schedule is designed to have more officers on duty during peak <br />call periods. Patrol officers respond generally within 2 minutes for emergency calls. <br />The patrol officers are responsible for responding to all calls for service to any location <br />within the city, enforcing local, state and federal laws, providing first aid for medical <br />emergencies, and maintaining law and order. In addition to their regular patrol duties <br />individual officers are assigned to identify and solve public safety problems and <br />concerns.
